KeyedHashAlgorithm.Create Method (String)

Creates an instance of the specified implementation of a keyed hash algorithm.

The name of the keyed hash algorithm implementation to use.

Return Value

A new instance of the specified keyed hash algorithm.

The keyed hash algorithms currently supported are HMACSHA1 and MACTripleDES.

The following code example demonstrates how to call the Create method to create a new instance of a keyed hash algorithm with the specified name. This code example is part of a larger example provided for the KeyedHashAlgorithm class.
