public override Color BackColor {get; set;}
public: __property Color get_BackColor();
public: __property void set_BackColor(Color);
public override function get BackColor() : Color;
public override function set BackColor(Color);

Property Value

A Color that represents the background of the control.

You can use the BackColor property to change the background color of the text control to blend into the color scheme of your forms.

To change the color of the text within the control, use the ForeColor property. When setting the BackColor property of your text control, ensure that the color you choose does not cause the text of the control to disappear. For example, if the BackColor and ForeColor properties are both set to Color.Black, the text within your textbox control will not be visible.
