Gets the active ingredient quantity for a specified inventory record.

The InventSum record for which you want to get the active ingredient quantity.

Return Value

Type: PDSActiveQtyAvail Extended Data Type
The active ingredient quantity, or 0 (zero) if the _sum parameter is for a nonpotency item or there is no actual potency value set for the batch.
