Represents a single table column. The Column object is a member of the Columns collection.

Remarks

The Columns collection includes all the columns in a table, selection, or range.

Use Columns(index), where index is the index number, to return a single Column object. The index number represents the position of the column in the Columns collection (counting from left to right).

Use the Column property with a Cell object to return a Column object.

Use the Add(Object) method to add a column to a table.

Use the Information[WdInformation] property with a Selection object to return the current column number.

Shading	Returns a Shading object that refers to the shading formatting for the specified object.
Width	Returns or sets the width of the specified object in points.

Methods

AutoFit()	Changes the width of a table column to accommodate the width of the text without changing the way text wraps in the cells.
Delete()	Deletes the specified object.
Select()	Selects the specified object.
SetWidth(Single, WdRulerStyle)	Sets the width of a column in a table.
Sort(Object, Object, Object, Object, Object, Object, Object, Object, Object, Object)	Sorts the specified table column.
