WorksheetFunction.GammaLn_Precise Method

Returns the natural logarithm of the gamma function, Γ(x).

Namespace:  Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel
Assembly:  Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel (in Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll)

Syntax

'Declaration
Function GammaLn_Precise ( _
    Arg1 As Double _
) As Double
'Usage
Dim instance As WorksheetFunction
Dim Arg1 As Double
Dim returnValue As Double

returnValue = instance.GammaLn_Precise(Arg1)
double GammaLn_Precise(
    double Arg1
)

Parameters

  • Arg1
    Type: System.Double

    X - the value for which you want to calculate GAMMALN.

Return Value

Type: System.Double

Remarks

If x is nonnumeric, the GammaLn_Precise method generates an error.

If x ≤ 0, the GammaLn_Precise method generates an error.

The number e raised to the GAMMALN(i) power, where i is an integer, returns the same result as (i - 1)!.
