Synchronizing third-party applications to Windows SharePoint Services is much easier in Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 than it was in previous versions. Applications that are built on the Windows SharePoint Services platform can use the GetListItemChangesSinceToken method to download only those items that have changed since the last synchronization operation.
