field data types

The set of data types you can choose from for a field in a Microsoft Access table. An Access database has many field data types, including AutoNumber, Currency, Date/Time, Hyperlink, Memo, Number, OLE Object, Text, and Yes/No. A Microsoft Access project connected to a Microsoft SQL Server database has many field (or column) data types, including binary, bit, char, datetime, decimal, float, image, int, money, nchar, ntext, numeric, nvarchar, real, smalldatetime, smallint, smallmoney, text, timestamp, tinyint, uniqueidentifier, varbinary, and varchar.
