Setup fails and "BITS job failed" error message is logged when you install Visual Studio 2015 Update 1
This article describes a setup error issue, this issue occurs when you install Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Update 1, a workaround is provided.
Assume that you have Visual Studio 2015 with Update 1 Release Candidate (RC) installed on a computer that aren't connected to the Internet. When you try to install Visual Studio 2015 Update 1, your setup fails. Note This issue occurs even if you have the Visual Studio Update ISO image.

Additionally, the following error messages are logged in the log file:
Error: BITS job failed
Error: Download was not successful because signature verification failed
This issue occurs because the Visual Studio Update 1 installer has to access the Internet to download required setup packages.
To work around this issue, make sure that you have an Internet connection before executing the Visual Studio Update 1 installer, and keep the connection on during the whole install process. Or, you can download the updated installer version of the same VS product already installed (Enterprise/Professional/Community) from https://www.visualstudio.com, and use this installer for upgrading your VS installation.
