Exporting to s local machine

This topic describes the export of Equivio data to a local machine.

  1. In the Equivio, open Manage > Export > Setup.

  2. Set parameters as necessary.

  3. Click Create export session (in the lower right corner of the page).

  4. When the Shared access signature dialog is displayed, click Copy to clipboard to copy the export key, and then click Close. The Office 365 Compliance Center eDiscovery Export Tool dialog is displayed. The dialog is also displayed when you click Download files in Export summary.

    In the eDiscovery Export Tool dialogue:

    1. Paste the Shared access signature export key value that was previously copied to the clipboard.

    2. Click Browse to select the target location for storing the downloaded export files on the local machine.

    3. Click Start. The export files are downloaded to the local machine.

(Optional) The following process allows you to send data at any time, from a previously executed Export batch session, to a local machine.

  1. In Equivio Export, click Export batch history icon Export batch history iconto the right of Export batch.

  2. Click Download icon Export batch history download icon next to the desired export batch to be exported.

  3. When the Shared access signature dialogue is displayed, click Copy to clipboard, to copy the export session data to the local machine, and click Close. The Office 365 Compliance Center eDiscovery Export Tool dialog is displayed.

    In the eDiscovery Export Tool dialogue:

    1. Paste the Shared access signature value, which was previously copied to the clipboard.

    2. Click Browse to select the target location for storing the downloaded export files on a local machine.

    3. Click Start. The export files are downloaded to the local machine.
