DefaultLanguage Property

Gets or sets the default language for the current instance.

Property Value

Type: System..::.String
The default language for the current instance.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
ArgumentNullException

The default language is nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

ValidationException

The default language is not valid.

Remarks

Stores the default language for the current Catalog. After you set the default language on a catalog you should call the Save method to save the changes to the catalog system. The value you specify for the default language should:

  • Not be nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic) or blank.

  • Not exceed 10 characters.

  • Not contain the ,'[] characters.

  • Be one of the languages in the catalog.
