CRMEmailTemplate.MakePublic Method
The MakePublic method makes an e-mail template available to all users. Only the owner of a template can make it public. By default, all objects are public. See Remarks.
Syntax
[Visual Basic .NET]
Public Sub MakePublic(
ByVal Caller As CUserAuth,
ByVal TemplateId As String
)
[C#]
public void MakePublic(
CUserAuth Caller,
string TemplateId
);
[C++]
public: void MakePublic(
CUserAuth* Caller,
String* TemplateId
);
Parameters
Caller
Specifies the identity of the caller. To perform this action, the caller must be the object owner and have the prvWriteEmailTemplate privilege. See CUserAuth.
TemplateId
Specifies the ID of the template to be made public.
Return Value
No return value.
Remarks
Note The Microsoft CRM application does not provide an interface for making an object private. However, if an object is made private by using a third-party solution, the application recognizes this setting.
If there is an error, SOAP throws an exception and the error message is reported in System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException.Detail.OuterXml.
All IDs passed to the platform are GUIDs wrapped in braces. For example: {6522D89A-A752-4455-A2B0-51494C6957C3}

[C#]
