Saving an Edited Resource File (Windows CE 5.0)

After you edit a resource, to retain the changes you make, you must save it.

To save an edited resource file

  • To save the file as its current name, in the current directory, from the File menu, choose Save.

    The resource is saved using its current name.

  • To save the file using another name, or to save it in another directory, do the following:

    1. from the File menu, choose Save As.

    2. In the Save In list, select the directory path.

    3. To insert the resource into a project, save the file in a directory path that does not contain spaces.

    4. In the File Name box, type the file name (or accept the existing name).

    5. Choose OK.

      The resource is saved using the name in the File Name box.
