The "Invalid Partition Table or Missing Operating System" message is displayed.

Resolution

The CompactFlash disk partition must be active before you try to boot it. Use fdisk or diskpart to mark the CompactFlash partition as active. For more information, see Configuring the CompactFlash Device, or Configuring a Hard Drive with Diskpart and Windows PE.
