Running a Batch Build (Windows CE 5.0)

You can use the Batch Build command to build multiple run-time images consecutively from selected configurations of your OS design.

To build multiple run-time images

  1. From the Build OS menu, choose Batch Build.

  2. In the Configurations box, clear the check box for each configuration that you do not want to build.

  3. For the batch build, select from the following flags.

    • To delete existing intermediate and output files before running the build, select Clean before Building.
    • To copy files to the release directory after the build completes, select Copy files to release directory after building.
    • To create a run-time image from files in the release directory after the build completes, select Make run-time image after building.
  4. Run the Sysgen tool on the files of each selected configuration by choosing Sysgen.

    – or –

    Build and then run the Sysgen tool on all files for each selected configuration by choosing Build and Sysgen.

The results for each configuration are separated in the Output window by a line containing the name of the project being built.
