shell Modules (Windows CE 5.0)

The shell module group supports the following Windows CE shell-related modules: Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer, Internet Explorer 6 for Windows CE, Handheld PC–style shell.

The following table shows the modules contained in the shell group.

ceshapi Implements ceshell functions. Includes functions, such as SHBrowseForFolder that require user interface resources. Ceshapi.lib
ceshui Implements the user interface elements, such as folder views, of ceshell functions. Not applicable. Ceshui.lib
explorer Supports Standard Shell. Included in the full-version OS. Exposes no public functions. Explorer.lib
explorer_ie Internet Explorer 6 specific handling code for explorer. This is used when Internet Explorer is included in the OS Design. Not applicable. Explorer_ie.lib
explorer_pie Handling code for mobile Internet browser. This is used when Pocket Internet Explorer is included in the OS Design. Not applicable. Explorer_pie.lib
favorites Supports file system-based favorites for the standard shell. Not applicable. Favorites.lib
