rdp Modules (Windows CE 5.0)

This module group includes modules that support the ability to connect remotely to a desktop computer or a terminal server based on Microsoft Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP Professional. For more information, see Remote Desktop Protocol.

The following table shows the modules contained in the rdp module group.

atlprop The Thin Client property sheet editor. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code. Not applicable
atlwbtprnwiz The RDP redirected printer configuration wizard. Available as public source code. Not applicable
atlwbtwiz The Thin Client startup wizard. This module is used only in the Windows Thin Client shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL. Not applicable
cetsc Supports the User Interface for the Windows Terminal Server and Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). CETSC manages the user interface, and is derived from the Microsoft Terminal Services Client (MSTSC) that is found on Windows-based desktop systems. Exposes no public functions in source code. Not applicable
filterfsd Implements the file redirection filter. The file redirection filter is only allowed when drive redirection is enabled. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code. filterfsd.lib
licinfo Implements the TS CAL Maintenance tool, which is the control panel program that is used to display terminal services (TS) licenses to the user. This module is used in the Thin Client Shell, and is available as public source code. Licinfo.lib
mstscax The Microsoft ActiveX® component that handles all communications for the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) client. Mstcax contains the Microsoft RDP core. Mstcax handles RDP, manages client-side devices, and performs graphical updates. Not applicable. Mstscax.lib
prnprxy The printer proxy component used to redirect RDP printer data to the local printer. Prnprxy is the control panel program that is used to manage local ports. Exposes no public functions. Prnprxy.lib
ssblank Alternative blank screen saver for the Thin Client shell. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code.
Note   There are four independent options for screen savers: none, ssblank, ssfloat, and sstiled.

ssfloat Implements the floating style screen saver for the Windows Thin Client shell. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code. Exposes no public functions. Ssfloat.lib
sstiled Implements the tiled style screen saver that has four bitmaps at each corner of the screen for the Thin Client shell. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code. sstiled.lib
wbtprncpl Launches the Add Printer Wizard from the Control Panel tab of the Terminal Properties page. Wbtprncpl is a control panel program that is used to manage local printers that appear within the session. Exposes no public functions. Wbtprncpl.lib
wbtprnwiz A printer wizard that is used to add local printers. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code. Not applicable
wbtshell The Windows Thin Client executable shell that controls the user interface (UI). This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL. It exposes no public functions. Wbtshell.lib
wbttaskman A minimal task manager that is used within the Thin Client shell. This module is only used in the Thin Client Shell, SYSGEN_WBTSHELL, and is available as public source code. Not applicable
