IMediaSeeking::GetTimeFormat

This method retrieves the current time format, which determines the format of units used during seeking.

HRESULT GetTimeFormat(
  GUID* pFormat
);

Parameters

  • pFormat
    [out] Time format currently supported by this interface.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value that depends on the implementation of the interface. The default DirectShow implementation returns S_OK for success, or E_NOTIMPL if the method is not implemented.

Remarks

See the IsFormatSupported method for a list of time formats. Only one time format can be set on the filter graph at any one time.

Requirements

DirectShow applications and DirectShow filters have different include file and link library requirements. See Setting Up the Build Environment for more information.

OS Versions: Windows CE 2.12 and later. Version 2.12 requires DXPAK 1.0 or later.
