MatrixStack.TranslateLocal(Single,Single,Single) Method (Microsoft.DirectX)

Determines the product of the computed translation matrix by the given factors (x, y, and z) and the current matrix.

Definition

Visual Basic Public Sub TranslateLocal( _
    ByVal x As Single, _
    ByVal y As Single, _
    ByVal z As Single _
)
C# public void TranslateLocal(
    float x,
    float y,
    float z
);
C++ public:
void TranslateLocal(
    float x,
    float y,
    float z
);
JScript public function TranslateLocal(
    x : float,
    y : float,
    z : float
);

Parameters

x System.Single
Floating-point value that represents the translation factor in the x-direction.
y System.Single
Floating-point value that represents the translation factor in the y-direction.
z System.Single
Floating-point value that represents the translation factor in the z-direction.

Remarks

This method left-multiplies the current matrix by the computed translation matrix (transformation is around the local origin of the object).

Exceptions

InvalidCallException

The method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter might contain an invalid value.
