There are several properties that you can set when creating a web part. These properties affect how the web part is displayed on a page. The following list summarizes the typical appearance and behavior of a summary web part.

  • Does not have a title bar or border
  • Located on the top-left side of a center page
  • Has a fixed height of 480 pixels, and a fixed width of 250 pixels
  • Cannot be minimized
  • Cannot be closed
  • Cannot be moved to another zone
