Send Feedback

This method informs the pin to end a flush operation.

HRESULT EndFlush(void);

Parameters

None.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value that depends on the implementation.

HRESULT can be one of the following standard constants, or other values not listed.

Value Description
E_FAIL Failure.
E_POINTER Null pointer argument.
E_INVALIDARG Invalid argument.
E_NOTIMPL Method is not supported.
S_OK or NOERROR Success.

Remarks

When this method is called, the pin is beginning to end a flush operation. It should perform the following steps.

Ensure that your filter will not push any additional data. (To do this, synchronize with a thread, stop it pushing, and discard any queued data.)

Re-enable the IMemInputPin::Receive method by clearing the internal flushing flag.

Pass the EndFlush method downstream by calling the method on the connecting input pin.

This method is implemented in the base classes by CBaseInputPin::EndFlush.
