NdisRecalculatePacketCounts (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

This function resets the valid counts for a given packet.

VOID NdisRecalculatePacketCounts(PNDIS_PACKET Packet);

Parameters

  • Packet
    [in, out] Pointer to the packet descriptor.

Return Values

None.

Remarks

If a driver explicitly modifies a buffer descriptor chain for a packet descriptor, that driver should call this function with the modified packet. In general, an NDIS driver should avoid modifying buffer descriptor chains that it sets up, and a driver must not modify chains set up by other drivers.

This call resets the valid counts for the packet to FALSE, thus forcing NdisQueryPacket to recalculate the buffer count for the modified packet if it is called subsequently with that packet.

Requirements

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Ndis.h.
