The NIC driver to read a UCHAR from a memory-mapped device register calls this function.

VOID NdisReadRegisterUchar(PUCHARRegister,PUCHARData);

Parameters

  • Register
    [in] Points to the memory-mapped register. This virtual address must fall within a range returned by an initialization-time call to NdisMMapIoSpace.
  • Data
    [out] Points to the caller-supplied variable in which this function returns the UCHAR read from Register.

Return Values

None.

Remarks

If a driver calls this function, its NIC's device registers must be mapped to non-cached memory during driver initialization.

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
