IImageSinkFilter::SetEncoderParameters

This method is used to pass values for image encoding parameters to the image sink filter. A call to this method populates an EncoderParameters class in the Imaging API.

HRESULT SetEncoderParameters(
  DWORD                   dwCount,
  StructEncoderParameter* Parameter
);

Parameters

  • dwCount
    [in] A DWORD value that identifies the number of parameters to set.
  • Parameter
    [in] A pointer to an array of StructEncoderParameter structures that is dwCount long. Each structure in the array provides the values for an imaging parameter.

Return Value

Returns an HRESULT value. The following table shows some of the possible return values.

Value Description
S_OK Success.

DirectShow applications and DirectShow filters have different include file and link library requirements.
