TCP/IP and IP Helper (Windows CE 5.0)

Send Feedback

Internet Protocol Helper (IP Helper) provides application programming interfaces (APIs) that assist in the network administration of the local computer. You can use IP Helper to programmatically retrieve information about the network configuration of the local computer and to modify the settings. IP Helper also provides notification mechanisms to ensure that an application is signaled when certain aspects of the network settings change on the local computer.

The IP Helper APIs are applicable in any computing environment where it is useful to programmatically manipulate TCP/IP configuration settings. Typical applications include IP routing protocols and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) agents.
