The flushbuffersonwrite field specifies whether file system buffers are flushed when messages are written to the SMTP and Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP) pickup directories.

Remarks

You can use this field for both SMTP and NNTP configurations. If the current configuration specifies using the pickup directories for the SMTP and NNTP services when sending or posting messages, you can set this value to TRUE to force message files to be written directly to disk. This overrides file system buffering.
