Delivery Restrictions

The Delivery Restrictions page allows you to specify whether the gateway will accept or reject messages sent from particular recipients. In this sense, recipient means any recipient object defined in the system. This page also allows you to set the default behavior of the gateway to accept or reject all incoming messages.

To set delivery restrictions

  1. Click the Delivery Restrictions tab on the Properties page.

  2. To accept or reject all incoming messages by default, click the appropriate option button under the following heading:

  3. To specify individual recipients whose messages will be accepted, click Add under the list box labeled Accept Messages from:. The :Select Recipient page will appear.

  4. Scroll through the list to find the alias of a recipient you want to add and click Add. The selected recipient will appear in the box below. Repeat this process to add as many recipients as you want.

  5. When you are finished, click OK to return to the Delivery Restrictions page. You will see the recipients you selected in the Accept Messages from: list.

  6. To specify individual recipients whose messages will be rejected, click Add under the box labeled Reject messages from:. The :Select Recipient page will appear.

  7. Add recipients as described in Step 4.

  8. To remove recipients from either list, click the entry for the recipient you want to remove. Click the Remove button below the list. A dialog box will appear that asks you to confirm the Remove action. Click Yes.
