ATTRIB


The ATTRIB command displays or changes file attributes. Currently supported attributes are S (system file), R (read–only file) H (hidden file), ROMMODULE, and ROM.

NOTE   You cannot use the ATTRIB command to set or clear attributes for files on the ROM file system.

S SH ATTRIB [+R || -R] [+S || -S] [+H || -H] [<path>] [<filename>]

Sets an attribute.

Clears an attribute.
R
Indicates the read–only attribute.
S
Indicates the system file attribute.
H
Indicates the hidden file attribute.
ROMMODULE
Indicates OS file stored in ROM and executed directly from ROM.
ROM
Indicates OS file stored in ROM (read–only).
<path>
Indicates the path to the file.
<filename>
Indicates the file to change attributes on.
