The following instructions lead you through the required steps for manufacturing a Windows Powered NAS.

Prerequisites

  • A hardware platform
  • Master image of the Windows Powered NAS server appliance operating system (OS)
  • End user license agreement (EULA) power plug sticker
  • Certificate of Authenticity (COA) license sticker

To manufacture a NAS server appliance

  1. Copy the master image onto the boot hard drive.
  2. Attach the EULA sticker.
  3. Attach the COA license sticker.
  4. Include the EULA document in your shipment.
  5. The NAS is now ready to ship.
