CeUnmountDBVol

This function unmounts a database volume. CeUnmountDBVol is a RAPI that enables an application that is running on a desktop computer to make function calls on a Microsoft® Windows® CE–based device.

  PCEGUID pceguid 
);

Parameters

  • pceguid
    [in] Pointer to the CEGUID that contains the globally unique identifier (GUID) of a mounted database to be unmounted.

Return Values

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.

Remarks

All cached data is flushed to permanent storage. A single database volume can be mounted more then once by a different application. Each time the volume is mounted a reference count is incremented. A mounted database volume does not unmount until all applications that mounted the volume call CeUnmountDBVol (RAPI).
