Legacy-Free Software

Introduction to legacy-free software.

The legacy-free guidelines of the PC 2001 System Design Guide are intended to remove device interfaces that are not Plug and Play, including disk controllers, serial ports, parallel ports, game ports, PS/2 ports, and slots or devices. Your software must not require the explicit use of any of these types of interfaces.
