About the ISA Server Cache
When caching is enabled, Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server maintains a centralized cache of frequently requested objects that can be accessed by all ISA Server clients. ISA Server Enterprise Edition also allows distributed caching among multiple ISA Server computers that belong to the same array. Distributed caching may be implemented with arrays, chains of proxy servers, or a combination of both. For brief descriptions of the ISA Server caching features, see Cache Overview.
