IRTCClient::get_LocalUserName

The get_LocalUserName property gets the displayable name used in the From: header of the messages sent from this Client.

HRESULT get_LocalUserName(BSTR*pbstrUserName);

Parameters

  • pbstrUserName
    [out] Pointer to a BSTR containing the user name. The caller is responsible for freeing this memory with SysFreeString.

Return Values

RTC methods may return an RTC_E_ constant.

Value Meaning
E_FAIL No local user name.
RTC_E_CLIENT_NOT_INITIALIZED The client has not been initialized.
