minExclusive Property

 

[This feature was only implemented for MSXML 6.0.]

Returns a string. This string indicates a value that is one less than the minimum number of times the type can be used in a document (x = x-1). For more information about the minExclusive facet, see Data Type Facets, in XML Data Types Reference, under XML Schema Reference.

JScript Syntax

var strMinExclusive = oISchemaType.minExclusive;  

Parameters

None.

Return Values

strMinExclusive
A string. The minExclusive facet of the restriction.

Example

The following snippet is taken from the Walk the SOM sample application. In this snippet, the minExclusivepropertyis retrieved from the ISchemaType object.

If oType.minExclusive <> "" Then
        res = res + printTab(t+1) + "<xsd:minExclusive value='"+ oType.minExclusive + "'/>" + vbNewLine
    End If

Visual Basic Syntax

strMinExclusive = oISchemaType.minExclusive

C/C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_minExclusive (BSTR* minExclusive);  

Parameters

minExclusive[out,retval]
A string. The minExclusive facet string.

Return Values

S_OK
The value returned if successful.

E_POINTER
The value returned if the minExclusive parameter is NULL.

E_FAIL
The value returned if something else is wrong.

Note

If the facet is not used, the property will return a NULL string.
