DBPROP_MAXROWS

Property group: Rowset

Property set: DBPROPSET_ROWSET

Column? N

Type: VT_I4

Typical R/W: R/W

Description: Maximum Rows

Indicates the maximum number of rows that can be returned in a rowset. If there is no limit, this value is zero. If the provider supports setting DBPROP_MAXROWS, at initial rowset population the provider must ensure that the rowset never contains more than the specified number of rows. If the consumer attempts to fetch beyond DBPROP_MAXROWS number of rows in a rowset, the rowset behaves as if the table contained or the query returned only DBPROP_MAXROWS, and the provider returns DB_S_ENDOFROWSET. Pending deletes do not count against the rowset limit set by DBPROP_MAXROWS. Providers are not required to check DBPROP_MAXROWS when inserting or deleting rows.
