About Security Management

The following sections provide information about security management.

Section	Description
LSA Policy	Maintains information about all aspects of local security on a system. Also provides services for translation between names and security identifiers (SIDs).
Password Filters	Enables you to implement password policy and change notification.
Safer	Provides any application that starts programs from external sources the ability to query security policy for approval before an executable is started.
