Localization

Localization of the replaced tabs will be up to the provider implementing the pages that replace the default pages.

All providers must implement property pages for at least the English locale. If the provider calls IPropertyPageSite::GetLocaleID and the value is unrecognized, the property page should display its English version.

When the Data Source Locator is running in a particular non-English locale and the provider does not implement that locale, two particular behaviors will be observed:

  1. The contents of the property pages for the Connection and Advanced tabs will be in English, although the other pages are in the current locale.

  2. The names of the tabs for Connection and Advanced will change at run time when the provider is selected. Before the provider is selected, they will be in the current locale; when the provider is selected, they will change to English. If another provider is then selected, they may change again.
