IDirectXVideoDecoder::GetVideoDecoderService method (dxva2api.h)

Retrieves the DirectX Video Acceleration (DXVA) decoder service that created this decoder device.

Syntax

HRESULT GetVideoDecoderService(
  [out] IDirectXVideoDecoderService **ppService
);

Parameters

[out] ppService

Receives a pointer to IDirectXVideoDecoderService interface. The caller must release the interface.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

S_OK
 The method succeeded.
