DispatcherOperation.Wait Method (TimeSpan)

Waits for the operation to complete in the specified period of time.

	TimeSpan timeout
)

Parameters

timeout
Type: System.TimeSpan
The maximum period of time to wait.

Return Value

Type: System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherOperationStatus
The status of the operation.

ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException

Status is equal to Executing. This can occur when waiting for an operation that is already executing on the same thread.

To obtain the return value of the invoked delegate, use the Result property.

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1
