XamlReader.Load Method (Stream)

Reads the XAML markup in the specified Stream and returns an Object that corresponds to the root of the specified XML.

You cannot use methods in XAML.

Parameters

stream

The XAML to load.

Return Value

The root of the deserialized tree.

stream is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The following example saves a Button into a MemoryStream using the XamlWriter class. The stream is then loaded back into a Button using the static Load method on the XamlReader class.

origianlButton.Height = 50;
origianlButton.Width = 100;
origianlButton.Background = Brushes.AliceBlue;
origianlButton.Content = "Click Me";

// Save the Button to a string.
