PackageDigitalSignature.Verify Method (X509Certificate)

Verifies the digital signature against a given X.509 certificate.

	X509Certificate signingCertificate
)

Parameters

signingCertificate
Type: System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.X509Certificate
The signer's X.509 certificate to verify the digital signature against.

Return Value

Type: System.IO.Packaging.VerifyResult
VerifyResult.Success if the verification succeeded; otherwise, one of the VerifyResult values that identifies a problem.

ExceptionCondition
InvalidOperationException

The digital Signature has been deleted.
