RichHtmlField.AllowTextMarkup Property

Gets or sets the constraint that allows explicit text markup tags, such as bold and italic, to be added to the HTML.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
When this flag is set to False, explicit text markup tags, such as bold and italic, are not allowed in the HTML.

Remarks

If this flag is set to False, <B>, <EM>, <I>, <STRONG>, <S>, <STRIKE>, <TT>, <ABBR>, <ACRONYM>, <CITE>, <CODE>, <DEL>, <DFN>, <INS>, <SAMP>, <BDO>, <RT>, <RUBY>, <U>, <BIG>, <SMALL>, <SUB>, <SUP>, <PRE>, <PLAINTEXT>, <XMP>, <Q>, <LISTING>, <BLOCKQUOTE>, <NOBR> and <WBR> tags will removed from the HTML. Default is TRUE. This property also determines whether the editing user interface (UI) enables these operations.
