Robust client Silverlight applications handle objects that may be thrown during communication. There is also a derived exception type, FaultException, that clients also often expect. Therefore, to prevent the generic handler from catching this more specific exception types, catch this exception prior to handling .
FaultException objects are thrown when a listener receives a SOAP fault that is not expected or specified in the operation contract.
