Upgrading Team Foundation Server
Over time, you might discover that you must upgrade your deployment of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server from the trial edition to the full edition. For example, you might determine that Team Foundation Server meets your business needs and that you want to upgrade before your evaluation period expires. You should also consider the licensing requirements for upgrading your edition. For more information about licensing, see the following page on the Microsoft Web site: Visual Studio 2010 Licensing White Paper.
You can also upgrade from an earlier version of Team Foundation Server to Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2010, but this change requires additional steps.
