TabControlCtl Sample: Demonstrates the Windows Forms TabControl Control

The TabControlCtl sample demonstrates Windows Forms in a .NET Framework application, focusing on the functionality of TabControl controls (alignment, appearance, use of images, and use of hot tracking).

Building and Running the Sample

To build and run TabControlCtl using Visual Studio

  1. In the Visual Studio IDE, open the solution file tabcontrolctl.sln.
  2. In Solution Explorer, right-click the TabControlCtl solution.
  3. On the shortcut menu, click Build.
  4. On the Debug menu, click Start.

The application displays a window with a TabControl control. There is a group of combo boxes, check boxes, and a TrackBar control to modify the properties of the tab control. For example, you can change the appearance, alignment, size, use of hot-tracking, whether the tabs are multiline, and the width.
