CheckedListBoxCtl Sample: Demonstrates the Windows Forms CheckedListBox Control

The CheckedListBoxCtl sample shows how to use Windows Forms in a .NET Framework application, focusing on the features of CheckedListBox controls (alignment, display type, 3D or not, and sorted or not).

Building and Running the Sample

To build and run CheckedListBoxCtl using Visual Studio

  1. Open the solution file CheckedListBoxCtl.sln in the IDE.
  2. In Solution Explorer, right-click the CheckedListBoxCtl solution.
  3. On the shortcut menu, click Build.
  4. On the Debug menu, click Start.

The application displays a standard CheckedListBox control containing a tree control with check boxes on the left hand side for each tree item. Use these to modify the properties of the current list. In addition to the CheckedListBox control, there are buttons positioned underneath for adding, removing, and resetting the order of the elements in the list. To the right of the CheckedListBox control, there is a group of check boxes for modifying the list display properties.
