Overview of the JDBC Driver

The Microsoft JDBC Driver 4.2 (Preview) for SQL Server is a Type 4 Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) 4.2 compliant driver that provides robust data access to SQL Server 2014, SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server 2008, and Azure SQL Database.

You can download the Microsoft JDBC Drivers 4.2 (Preview), 4.1 and 4.0 for SQL Server from Microsoft Download Center.

The earlier Microsoft Driver 4.0 is also available in the feature pack on the SQL Server 2012 Feature Pack web page.
