                           java.io.InputStream as,
                           int n)

Parameters

sCol

A String that contains the parameter name.

as

An InputStream object.

n

Remarks

This setAsciiStream method is specified by the setAsciiStream method in the java.sql.CallableStatement interface.

When the length (n) is set to -1, a stream is allowed, but a specific length is not required. If the InputStream passes a stream of a different length than what is specified, the JDBC driver will stop the update while it tries to preserve the connection and the current transaction.
