IVsImmediateStatementCompletion2::InstallStatementCompletion Method (Int32, IVsTextView^, Int32)

Informs the language service that it must add or remove its IVsTextViewFilter from the command filter chain for the command window’IVsTextViews IVsTextView.

Parameters

fInstall
Type: System::Int32

[in] Flag that determines whether to add or remove the filter. Value is true to add.

pCmdWinView
Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TextManager.Interop::IVsTextView^

[in] The text view containing the command filter chain to be modified.

fInitialEnable
Type: System::Int32

[in] Flag that determines whether statement completion should be active upon return from this method. Value is true for active statement completion. If the filter is being removed, this parameter is ignored.

Return Value

Type: System::Int32

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.
