Using Microsoft Excel for Team Foundation Server Reporting

You can create ad-hoc queries and reports in Microsoft Excel to help manage your team project. Microsoft Excel allows you to connect to the Team Foundation data warehouse and display data from the warehouse as a PivotTable or PivotChart report.

NoteNote

To set up the data warehouse as a data source for Microsoft Office Excel 2003, you will need the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services 9.0 OLE DB Provider installed on the computer where you use Excel. The driver is available online through the Microsoft Download Center at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=d09c1d60-a13c-4479-9b91-9e8b9d835cdc.
