Select Synchronization Method (Synchronize Database Wizard) (SSAS)
Use the Select Synchronization Method page to determine whether to immediately synchronize the selected databases and instances, or to instead save the options selected in the Synchronize Database Wizard to a script file for later synchronization.
Options
- Synchronize now
Select to synchronize the databases and instances immediately after you complete the Synchronize Database Wizard.
- Save the script to a file
Select to save the options selected in the Synchronize Database Wizard to a script file for later synchronization. Together with the options selected in the wizard, the wizard stores the XML for Analysis (XMLA) Synchronize command to the selected script file. For more information about the Synchronize command, see Synchronize Element (XMLA).
File
Type the full path and file name of the XMLA script file to contain the synchronization command and options.Note
This option is available only if Save the script to a file is selected.
- Browse
Click to display the Save As dialog box and select the full path and file name of the XMLA script file.
